Nobitech, a 4-month old start-up may just be cutting a new frontier into the fashion retail world with it’s recently launched Zika-proof fitness apparel line. Founded by 33-year old former Shark Tank, this business went from ideation to execution in less than four months and timings was near to perfection - Olympics and Zika.
Outside of the raw sewage and cost overruns, one of the biggest stories of the Rio Summer Olympics has been the risk of athletes (and tourists) getting infected with the Zika virus. Attendance overall is also expected to be lower than projected due to fears of an outbreak. The public’s paranoia is not unfounded.
